Justifications in Improv

Workshop Description: In this workshop, we'll delve into the importance of justification in improv in order to set up your scene and your team for ultimate success. We'll look at building skills and exploring strategies to help simplify justifications and avoid overthinking and overcomplicating how we work.

About the Instructor: Matt has been an improviser for over 8 years now. He has trained with and performed at world-famous improv comedy institutions Second City, iO Theater, The People’s Improv Theater, Philly Improv Theater, CSz Philly, and The Upright Citizens Brigade. In addition, he is currently a long-form improv house team member at ComedySportz Philly in “Don’t I Know You” and is a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade’s Diversity Scholarship Program. He also currently teaches improv and sketch comedy at UnScripted Productions, where he has been teaching for the past four years.
