Workshop Description: In this brief, give-it-a-try, dip-your-toe-in workshop, we’ll slowly and comfortably ease into the tools and challenges of creating theatre in the moment. Perfect for absolute beginners or for those with experience who want to revisit the basics in new ways.
About the Instructor: Matt Holmes has performed and taught improv around the country for 25 years in a variety of projects, from an internationally touring trio to teaching college improv clubs to an audio-only show in the dark. In Matt&, he improvises with a complete stranger from the audience in a show called “playful and winning” by TimeOut Chicago. He has taught improv to 8-year-olds, 80-year-olds, and others in between.
